easy fast charr carving farming.
everybody knows you need charr carvings for the holidays right? now how many warriors remember the old droks troll farming build. well, here you go.
as you can see, you get lots of charr carvings, hides, some dyes and cc shards too.
all you need is a good axe and a good shield for this. i was using this:
but you can use anything. i also had glads armour for the energy, but it doesnt really matter. just apply mending right away, open the gate and run down. apply live vic, and argo everything. target the boss, usetriple chop and cyclone, which clears out most of them, then round up the stragglers. if you ever troll farmed, this should be easy.
my attributes:
16 axe
8 healing
11 tactics
have fun!

Just a note: If you wear Dreads or another higher AL armor, you don't need the monk skills at all. Though Kudos on finding the spot to farm.

the splinter weapon sounds nice. the /ele sounds destructive too. also because of the quick farming period and many enemies, you can get event items like clovers and cc shads alot here (this is actually kinda what i created this for) even though carvings are good.

Don't mean to stir up an old thread, but I just have to say....
The drop rates just aren't what they used to be. I am lucky to get a Charr Carving to drop anymore, though occasionally I get 3 in a go. 10 times through the first part of Nolani, 12 Carvings.
Rather depressing really. lol

It's called loot scaling. Killing everything at once will only give drops comparable to killing ~3 foes. Killing them one at a time would be better.
